The finest malt from local malthouses, the purest mountain water from our own springs in the Traunstein high mountain and aromatic hops from our own hop fields in the Holledau. In contrast to international drinks companies with their absurd mixed drinks, Hofbräuhaus Traunstein is committed to the Bavarian purity law of 1516.
Over 100 gold and silver medals in the DLG (German Agricultural Society) test, the most stringent beer test in the world, substantiates the high standards of quality at Traunstein Royal Court Brewery.

This is the only and the last brewery to still transport beer with horse-drawn vehicles. Hofbräuhaus Traunstein has dedicated itself to being a medium-sized private brewery with its market niche strategy, in particular in the gastronomy sector. The partnership between the brewery and the customer is very much looked after with the Marketing departments. From stand-up bar, to a hotel awarded with stars, from guesthouse to event hall.
