Our “Discover-experience-taste” tour has 9 stops in total for visitors: the historical malting floor with the steam engine, the brewhouse with its gleaming copper pans, the fermentation room, the storage room, the filling of bottles and casks and historic sets related to old crafts such as coopering and pitching – the sealing of casks with liquid pitch.

Experiential sections afford fresh insights into and experiences of the wonderful craft of brewing and our multiple prize-winning beers.

Our brewery guide will greet you in the Maximiliansstüberl parlour, where you will sample our speciality beers with freshly-baked pretzels and enjoy our Hofbräuhaus Traunstein film. You will then set off on a guided tour to discover the various stages of production in our tradition-steeped family brewery.
