Back then, the relatively hard brewing water still produced the typical dark colour; today it is the result of our special caramel malt, which an old family malting house in Middle Franconia has been producing especially just for us for generations.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>As with our classic wheat beer, our unique yeast also gives this dark variant its special taste.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pleasant honey and harmonious fruit notes make this traditional wheat beer speciality with its craft beer character so special that it is hardly ever brewed outside of Bavaria. <\/p>\n<p>Hazelnut brown with fine yeast. A distinctly deep, spicy-smoky flavour from the special dark malt, with a faint hint of fruit.
