Shining “H” / The Sun

The bright “H” stands for both “Helles” and “Hofbräuhaus” and represents the radiance of our brewery, as well as the particularly “bright” beer that we have been brewing for generations. The round shape with the eight stripes goes back to our historical neck labels with the octagonal ends.

Lions / Lion’s Gate

The lion is not only part of the Bavarian national coat of arms and the symbolic figure of the Free State of Bavaria, but has also been associated with our brewery coat of arms since time immemorial. The two lions facing each other also symbolize the Lion’s Gate, which you pass when you drive up the Auberg into our Hofgasse.

Water, Hops and Malt

Water, hops and malt from the best growing regions in Bavaria, that’s all we need – and that’s all we use to brew our beers according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516.

Helles non-alcoholic

An aromatic hoppy refreshment with flattering sweetness, isotonic and non-alcoholic.

Alcohol content less than 0.5% vol.
